The Home Stylist contributes to a profitable and customer-centric environment through supporting the store management team in elevating the customer experience. Curates a compelling customer experience through home styling education, team development and establishing lasting connections with customers. REPORTS TO: Head Stylist
PARTNERS WITH: Department Managers and Merchandisers

EXPERIENCE

  • Two + years of retail stylist experience or equivalent
  • An understanding of the Anthropologie culture and its appeal to the local market
  • Ability to drive sales through excellent service, strong visual presentation, and a full understanding of the business
  • Strong record of developing talented individuals at the associate level or above

  • SALES + PROFITABILITY

  • Meets or exceeds sales, payroll and shrink goals. Controls expenses to increase profitability
  • Assesses the business; plans and prioritizes strategies to impact results
  • Meets or exceeds personal sales goals and regularly communicates contribution to the management team

  • Serves as an inspiration and sets a strong example for elevated service and styling
  • Is self-aware, accountable to actions and focused on self- development
  • Contributes to an environment of collaboration, inspiration and teaching
  • Serves as a mentor for Experts/CA s and ensures that coaching is consistent and timely
  • Leads or participates in fit sessions and workshops that are well-planned, collaborative, educational and motivational

  • AESTHETIC UNDERSTANDING AND APPLICATION

  • Has a strong understanding of trend and style that is reflective of the brand
  • Communicates trends, supports brand messaging, and inspires the internal/external customer
  • Collaborates in sharing of ideas and assessments related to store styling and outfitting
  • Develops team to connect brand aesthetic with store social media platforms
  • Ability to asses assortment globally and speak to highlights and opportunities in the product offering for our customer
  • OPERATING PROCEDURES

  • Adheres to and holds team accountable to Typical Day / Week Guidelines
  • Maintains a visually compelling store and fitting room environment that is neat, clean and organized
  • Trains and holds team accountable to The Standard
  • Upholds all Company Policy and Procedure
  • Adheres to internal and external Loss Prevention procedures
  • Communicates stylist supplies and collateral needs to Head Stylist
  • Partners in the social media messaging and events within the building
