Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Director of Business Development to join our team of professionals. We make a difference every day to patients and families coping with end of life illness in creating a center of excellence in hospice care.
Overview
The Director of Business Development develops relationships with managed care organizations, hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare providers. The Director will also manage the daily operations of the Referral and Admissions departments and is responsible for supervision of the Hospice Care Consultants, Referral Department Staff.
Qualifications
Has previous experience in hospice, home health, healthcare sales and/or community development.
Demonstrates a commitment to the hospice philosophy of care.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates an ability to work closely with a variety of people while effectively using problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates an understanding of referral patterns in the service area.
Demonstrates an ability to effectively direct and motivate a professional staff.
Demonstrates the ability to develop and present new In-Services.
