Develop and lead strong team of business analytics professionals. Align and partner as key member of Commercial Insights Leadership Team, in steering the function for capability and performance leadership. Lead - process and methodologically - enterprise-wide marketing resource optimization, customer targeting, patient, payer and trade analytics including Marketing Mix Model for key brands, pilots and experiments - and learnings/ implications of outcomes, and scenarios for resource shifts to meet or exceed plan. Develop, maintain, and periodically refresh \"playbooks\" for resource optimization standard practices (approaches, frameworks, and methodologies, for example for marketing mix model, test-control, specific simulations). Liaise with MMGA team in building the \"last mile\" of patient data repository from health plan to provider office, for composing bottom-up access & reimbursement analyses which will inform and determine broader omnichannel (and particularly field sales) pull-through efforts. Adopt, implement, and contribute to further evolution of, relevant global/ corporate frameworks in the Data - Digital - Analytics realm. Lead, at times hands-on, in the development of algorithms, code, hypotheses, models driving and optimizing access/ reimbursement and trade channel engagement across the USP portfolio; seek to automate and industrialize such algorithms, etc. for predictive and prescriptive modeling and action advise for various commercial staff (Marketing, Sales, other). Collaborate and partner effectively with various stakeholders across the enterprise, including CI, Marketing, Sales, Digital, Finance, and Technology teams; respond to ad hoc strategic business questions from senior management. Manage strategic vendor relationships, e.g., analytics workbench, analytics tools and models, data visualization, with a view to achieve high user satisfaction and optimal benefit for GSK. Why you?. Basic Qualifications:. We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:. Graduate degree in Business (MBA), in Science (M.Sc) - incl. Computer Sciences and Operations Research, or in Finance/ Economics (M. Econ.) or related. 10+ years of professional experience, of which, the most recent three years working in a pharma company, or in leading global management consulting firm leading relevant business analytics functions.. Understanding of marketing fundamentals & frameworks that can be applied to solve analytical problems. Methodological hands-on mastery and conceptual leadership of relevant analytical approaches and models, including promotional response, digital analytics, various channel, campaign, and tactics best practices, payer, patient and trade analytics; also customer segmentation and targeting approaches, analytical, operation and execution inter dependencies, and understanding of performance drivers. Sustained functional leadership of teams, and success in achieving high-performing team levels. Experience in managing hybrid/onshore/ offshore contractors and analytics workbench personnel. Preferred Qualifications:. If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:. Ph.D. in the abovementioned fields. Strong communication and presentation skills as evidenced through impactful senior management presentations, conference presentations, and/ or publications. Deep knowledge in and experience in U.S. Pharma relevant commercial therapeutic areas (Respiratory, Immunology, Oncology, and Vaccines). Understanding of the business impact of diversity & inclusion.
